Registered Democrats in New York will vote on June 23 in the Democratic Primary. Safe and accessible voting is crucial as our city confronts the COVID-19 pandemic.

Why vote this June? Since Brooklyn is a one party town, this election is critical. The Democratic Primary on June 23 determines the Democratic candidate in November and, since Brooklyn votes blue, the Democrat likely wins the seat.
Who will be on my ballot? Assembly District 52 includes elections for offices such as State Senator and Congress, as well as party positions like District Leader (which will appear as State Committee Member on your ballot).
Who can vote? Registered Democrats can vote in the Primary. Check your voter registration. If your current address is incorrect, update your address immediately here. If you are not registered as a Democrat, you cannot vote in the Primary — update your registration to participate in 2021!

Safe Voting During COVID-19

Due to COVID-19, Governor Cuomo is allowing all registered voters to request an absentee ballot for the June 23 election. The deadline to request an absentee ballot was June 16.
  • If you have not received your absentee ballot and want an update on its status or if you have any last minute questions, the most efficient way to contact the Board of Elections is by sending them a message via Twitter. We recognize the limitations of this option, so please email our campaign any time with your questions at info@jessepierceforbrooklyn.com.
  • You must fill out and return your absentee ballot no later than June 23.

Voting In-Person

Absentee voting is the safest voting option right now. If you cannot vote absentee or your absentee ballot does not arrive on time, you can vote in person.
  • Early voting is the best way to avoid crowds and long lines. Early voting ends Sunday, June 21. To find your early voting poll site, click here (& for more on early voting, visit voteearlyny.org).
  • Polls will be open on Election Day, June 23 from 6 AM to 9 PM. Look up your poll site here.
